Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) is the only non-caloric sweetener made from sugar. Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) is derived from sugar (or Sucrose, technical name of sugar) through a multi-step patented manufacturing process that selectively substitutes three atoms of chlorine for three hydroxyl groups on the sugar molecule. Chlorine is present naturally in many of the foods and beverages that we eat and drink every day ranging from table salt, lettuce, and mushrooms. This change produces a sweetener that has no calories, yet is 600 times sweeter than sucrose.

Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) is non-caloric and thus adds no calories to the foods and beverages it is used to sweeten. Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) is not utilized for energy in the body because it is not broken down like sucrose.

Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder), sweetener used in the product, is not natural. It is a 0 calorie sweetener that is made from a process that starts with sugar. Sucralose has a structure like sugar and a sugar-like taste but it is not natural.

Research and clinical studies have shown that Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) can be safely consumed by people with diabetes. Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) is not recognized by the body as sugar or as a carbohydrate. It is not metabolized by the body for energy and does not affect blood glucose levels. Sucralose (Sugar Free Natura Powder) has no effect on blood glucose utilization, carbohydrate metabolism or insulin production.

Sucralose is about 600 times sweeter than sugar. Like other tabletop sweeteners, Sugar Free Natura Powder also contains small amounts of maltodextrin or dextrose for consistent sweetening and to provide volume. However, these bulking agents provide so few calories per serving, that the FDA & World Health Organization (WHO) has approved table top sweeteners to contain the same. Also these low quantities do not affect the glycemic index and is considered safe for diabetics.
